Description New Zealand Auto Knitter 2007 Model, Blue This NZAK is in like new condition. I've used it maybe half a dozen times. It knits like a dream; I simply don't have time to use it. It comes with a 72/36 and 60/30 combination. The 72 cylinder/36 ribber have never been in the machine. It comes with the tools, buckle, weights, heel fork, original handle, start-up basket, and a full set of ribber and cylinder needles. I am missing my video, but it can be viewed on You Tube (and I'll mail it as soon as I come across it). The specially designed stand is also included. This  is a newly manufactured sock machine made in New Zealand  by Jacquie Grant, not an antique. The machine has been powder coated for durability and looks superb. It is made of a light-weight aluminum.  The machine has an automatic heel lifter for those folk who want to speed things up plus a handy brass row counter. The machine will come with a sock already on it to show it's in working order. I'll even throw in a skein of my beautiful alpaca sock yarn (80% alpaca, 20% nylon --- from my own animals!). Also available is a 54/36 compound cylinder set with everything needed to use in any standard Auto Knitter or LeGare (tappet plate, needles, center pin, yarn carrier, ribber dial)  Price was $700 and will sell for $500.  I finally got to test the size of tubing compared to a regular cylinder using the same yarn and stitch size -- tube is about 6 stitches narrower and would make a nice sock for youth through pre-teens.
