Since purchasing this unit from a dealer, I have not used it.  But a teacher has checked it out and started a pattern on it and confirmed that it was in working order.  So, you would be buying this AS IS, because I do not know much about machine knitting.  On a whim I bought it, but find I am not a "machine" person, preferring to hand-knit and spin.  Plus, teachers or shops in this area are not easily accessible.  The one shop I knew of has gone out of business. This is an unwieldy item to ship.  It would be carefully wrapped and packaged in three different boxes.  You would need to know how to reassemble it.  Total weight would be around 150 lbs.  It would be shipped by Fed Ex to United States address only.  The $200 charge for shipping is subject to a refund if the cost is less than $200. for shipping.  I will be glad to send a check to you for the difference if the shipping is less than $200.  If a winning bid is received, it will take several days to package and ship this item after receipt of payment, end of auction.  I will notify you when it is shipped.
