It's great for cables and the composition is wonderful blend of wool and silk in a natural, raw way :)While it is a soft yarn, Chelsea Silk is not as soft as processed yarns and this naturalness makes the whole difference!  There are 5 big skeins in this lot, all from the same dye lot. All are perfect, intact with ball bands. These equal to 5 x 1.75 oz skeins; well, that is a pack of yarn :)  Although there is no yardage mentioned on the label, I assume these would have twice the amount of yardage as the 1.75 oz skeins.
