This quilt is a machine quilted with an overall stippling pattern. I think you will agree that this quilt is absolutely gorgeous and is sure to become a family heirloom. It has every color imaginable in it from many different Thimbleberries lines including a lot of out-of-print fabrics. This quilt took approx. 25 yards of fabric and many weeks to complete. This quilt has a 14" block with a beautifully pieced hummingbird and flower in the center of the quilt with more than 200 pieces in it. The whole quilt has 1000's of pieces. This quilt is 100% pieced with no applique or fusing. All fabrics used are quilt shop quality and are 100% cotton. 99% of the fabrics used areThimbleberries. This quilt is newly, machine sewn and quilted by me in a smoke-free, pet-free environment. I have been making quilts for more than 30 years and take a lot of pride in my work. Professional quality work. This quilt is sure to end up in a museum one day. It would definitely make someone a wonderful Christmas present.
