The squares just POP!!! It is the first day of Autum!  Here is a quilt just in time for cool nights!      I bought some fat quarters here on ebay and started cutting strips.  I pulled some others out of my stash and started sewing them together.  I made squares, then cut them in half and sewed them back together.  I LOVED the way they looked and started sewing them in the bigger block.  OH MAN! Even better.  I had to really think how I was going to machine quilt  the blocks....hmmm  I did a waggy spiral in the center of the block then straight lines on the corners.  You really have to see it in person for the details.       I am so very proud of this quilt!   I used all different 100% cotton fabric on the front   and a 100% cotton flannel in the middle as a batting.  All the blocks and boarder have been sewn together with the seams exposed then clipped by hand by me.  I then washed and dried this quilt once to start the raggy bloom on the seams.    This quilt measures 68" wide by 86" long.  It fits nicely on a twin with hang down on both sides or just covers the top of a full size bed.  I named this quilt Twist and Turn and put it on the label on the back along with where and when it was made and my name.  This is an heirloom quilt to be handed down through generations.  Please super size the pictures to see all the details. Please make payment withing 3 days.  If you are still shopping please let me know.  Mark me as a favorite seller as I will be comeing up with new designs.  I recently came back from a month long trip to Ireland and have come home with so much insperation my sew machine is smokin!  Thank you!   I have described this to the best of my ability and have taken lots of pictures.  I tried to take pictures of every block. If you have any questions please contact me through Ebay and I will get back to you as soon as possible.  Please do not wait till the last minute of the auction. I will combine shipping on more than one purchase ending with in 5 days of each other and made in one payment.  Please let me know you are still shopping.   All bidders out side of the US must pay with paypal and shipping will be more I will send an invoice to let you know.    My handmade quilt items take extensive time and effort to create a treasure you will enjoy for a lifetime. A handcrafted creation is first a concept in my mind’s eye, then takes form by searching for fabrics, preparing fabric for sewing, cutting the pattern, quilting and stitching the seams for durability, washing, drying, and ironing. Once I have created an item and have decided to part with it, I take time to create photos that accurately reflect the true tones of the fabrics, the bloom of the frayed edge, all sides of the purse, and try to capture each item’s unique character for you. I create a listing to explain the quilted item, fabrics and care instructions. All this personal investment is done to provide you with an heirloom. Each item I make is made with personal pride & respect for the person who eventually will receive and use my quilted item. Each creation is a part of my personality and I am blessed to be able to share that with my gracious customers. When you purchase my handcrafted item you are supporting the US economy and Americans. Not only do you support me, but those who work in my small rural community, including those who cut the fabric, the cashiers that ring up my fabric, thread, supplies and tools, the employees of the USPS, and my sewing machine service shop.  And they rely on other Americans to do their job both inside my community & outside.  They also use their earnings in our community, as I do, further support of the American economy.   All of the personal, custom American service detailed above can’t be found at your local MEGA MART. Please consider these things as you invest in a handcrafted creation of any kind.
