It includes the engine or front train car and a cage car.  The front car measures about 18.5" L x 8.5" h x 7" w. The cage car measures about 15" L x 8.5" h x 7" w. The cars have wheels that turn. The engine car of the train has a removable part on the front(part of the bumper like piece on the lower front end) and the top board in front is removable as well. It has two doors that open in the back(one of the little pegs for handles on the door is broken off. I have it but it is not attached.) There are peg holes on the back and front of the cage car and the back of the engine. I do not have anything for these holes to connect the two cars, but I'm sure you can make or buy something. Because the cage car has a peg hole on the front and back, you can get more pieces and expand the train. Couldn't you create a nice gift for someone this holiday season! There is a series of light crack lines up the center of the bottom board of the cage car. Doesn't go through to top. Probably just needs to be sanded smooth.
